It
began with an image from a paint chart filled with delicate shades of white- a
serene Buddha displaying the faintest of smiles, an imagined countenance I
admire, but do not possess;
Then,
among a mound of surplus books-- fragmented text, simple words of encouragement,
acknowledgement, and love;
Next,
a clock piece, tucked away in a modern day curiosity shop, its numerical face acting
as a facade for its colorful, hidden beauty;
At
last, a gathering of the bits and pieces of everyday life- worn envelopes,
catalogue pages, labels, discarded frames and glass . . . all morphing . . .
changing . . .
One
becoming two;
Each
finding a home amidst other inspired imaginings.
Thank
you Somerset Studio and all those
that support and encourage our creative dreams.
