I continued to experiment with sachets this weekend.
The recycled shirt material I was utilizing was
not as sturdy as I’d hoped, so I decided to create some pieces that
incorporated enclosed seams—much better. The finished pieces were approximately
4” X 5.5”. I found that this design was perfect for scented sachets that could be
utilized on a bedside table, amongst linens, or even in an automobile.
To simplify the process, I placed small muslin
bags filled with fragrant granules through the sachet’s opening on the back.
You could dispense with the muslin bags, but I believe they will make replacing
the contents (granules, lavender, potpourri, etc.) much easier.
Mmmmmmm
. . . . . the scent of spring . . . . .
