Here’s just a quick and final
note regarding the “Window of Grace”
effort for those of you who participated. After the additional performance, a
great deal or sorting and sacking, and delivery of goods, the effort realized
$2,902.00 in monetary donations and gift cards and garnered approximately one
thousand supply items for the CVHG.
Additionally, some smaller toiletries that didn’t meet the CVHG’s needs
will be donated to a church organization that assists human trafficking
victims.
When asked to describe the
funding effort, the Executive Director of the CVHG remarked, “It was
priceless.” Based on the kindness I
observed, I would concur.
