taking cover

A few months ago, I mentioned a project that featured an old wooden drawer, some glass yogurt jars and other recyclables. Surprisingly, a photograph from that project was selected for the cover of the current GreenCraft magazine. For me, the project's “white and woodsy” tones suggest, what is now, an eagerly anticipated autumn.

  1. I tried to read the inscription on the candle. I think I read ....engulf a home...but I am not sure how it begins. Wondering if it is a saying you created or something you read. The design reminds me of simple, beautiful days.

  2. The text was taken from a Mary Oliver poem. The combined phrases were written as follows: " . . . to find myself a home . . . where one learns to live peacefully . . . "
